Latex Beds – Talalay and Dunlop Latex

by admin on Jul.10, 2010, under Latex Beds

The two type of latex beds are defined by the manufacturing process, Talalay and Dunlop. The original and most luxurious is Talalay, developed and patented to Dunlipillo. The second process is Dunlop and is more common. Talalay produces the highest quality and most luxurious latex beds. Dunlop creates a heavier firmer latex and are still very good latex beds.

The patented Talalay latex process is a time consuming, exact process. A little amount of  solution is poured at a time. Then they extract the air and distribute the potion inside the mold to create the perfect open cell structure. Then their special freezing process locks in the cells to stop the particles from settling. There’s more to making Talalay Latex than this however it would then turn into a science lesson.  Basically Talalay latex beds are superlative to sleep on.

With the Dunlop latex process none of the above are done resulting in a heavier and firmer latex. Talalay beds can be made in either softer medium or firm, however Dunlopillo still use their patented process for superior comfort.

Latex beds instantly conform to every mm of your body. Because latex doesn’t rely on your temperature when you move it instantly conforms to you again. Latex beds give you a lot more pressure relief than memory foam too.

Latex mattresses are an excellent choice for anyone who suffers from allergies. They are naturally anti bacterial, anti dustmite, they are not made with chemicals and they remain moisture free. Latex mattresses are also created without the use of chemicals and 100% natural latex foam such as in Dunlopillo are bio degradable.

Latex mattresses especially those by Healthbeds and Dunlopillo are fantastic  too for not knowing your partner is there.
